Become a Volunteer at the European Justice Education & Leadership Summit!

About the Summit

On 17 and 18 September 2026, Richtungswechsel, together with Grow Transform Belong and Smart Corrections, is hosting the European Justice Education & Leadership Summit in Vienna. Under the motto “Every role matters. Every voice leads,” the summit brings together justice professionals, educators, policymakers, and changemakers from across Europe to explore modern leadership cultures and the sustainable professional development of justice staff at all levels. The event takes place at VHS Simmering and is conducted entirely in English.

Your Tasks

As a volunteer, you will support our team with the organisation and administration of the summit. Your tasks will include:
• Logistics support: helping coordinate the practical aspects of the event, including travel, accommodation, and on-site preparations
• Communication: supporting correspondence with speakers, partners, and participants
• Social media: assisting with content creation and posts to promote the summit across our channels

Your Profile

• You are organised, reliable, and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment
• You have strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• You have an interest in justice, social policy, human rights, or European cooperation
• Experience with social media or event organisation is a plus, but not required

Hours:

The time commitment will vary depending on the week, ranging from approximately 5 to 10 hours. Some weeks will be busier than others as we get closer to the event.
